With over twenty years of experience, Mr. Starry specializes in the field of information security and technology. He earned his undergraduate degree in Engineering from DeVry University in 1987, his Master’s degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University in 2004, and has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2003. Mr. Starry has authored several publications covering topics including; the affects of malware and social engineering attacks in health care organizations.
Mr. Starry is currently involved in all aspects of infrastructure and information security technology and policy at a regional medical center. Mr. Starry’s Information Security responsibilities include the research, technical positions, and methodologies/best practices recommendations for corporate information technology and security practices within his organization.
Mr. Starry began his career in the mid 80’s at American International Group (AIG), where he was instrumental in the engineering and deployment of the Fortune 500’s first nation wide LAN based commercial line insurance rating program. In the early to mid 90’s Mr. Starry was a key player in the secure integration of the Internet and Web applications into Oracle Corporation’s day to day network operations.
